Institution Information: SCI, a medium-security facility for adult males, operates in Stanley, Wisconsin, with an operating capacity of 1500. Construction began in 1998 as a joint venture between the Dominion Company and the City of Stanley, later purchased by the State of Wisconsin in 2001. The facility spans 100 acres, featuring five housing units with specialized programs.

The lifecycle of an inmate's incarceration involves reception, orientation, and assessment, conducted primarily at intake sites like Dodge and Taycheedah Correctional Institutions. Inmates undergo evaluations and initial classification to determine custody and program assignments.
