Arrested Last Night but Not Showing in Inmate Search: Why?

My girlfriend was arrested last night. I checked vinelink and got her ID number but every time I go to the prison website and search for her there it brings up no results. What can I do to get more info?

The timing is the issue.

The timing is the issue. When someone is first booked, the information does not flow instantly to every database. VINELink, state DOC websites, and county jail rosters all update on different schedules, and fresh arrests can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days to propagate fully across all systems. Finding her on VINELink is a good sign that the booking is in process, but the facility's own public roster may simply not have caught up yet.

The most reliable way to get current information on a very recent arrest is to call the facility directly. Give them her full legal name and the ID number you found on VINELink, and they can confirm she is there, what the booking status is, and in most cases what charges are listed.

For arrest record detail that is more current than what the DOC public search shows, TruthFinder's arrest record search is one option InmateAid uses for fresh booking information. It pulls from sources that update faster than most official inmate locators and can give you a clearer picture in the early hours after an arrest.

This is the reason that we have a third-party firm that requires a small fee for this fresh information. Here is the link to the new ARREST RECORDS  available now.
