Once an inmate already has a confirmed release date, most of the available time credits have already been applied. That typically includes earned time for good behavior and any work or program participation. At that point, there are very few ways to shorten the sentence further, especially in a state system like Arizona.
Good behavior and work assignments do help, but they are usually factored in along the way, not after the release date is finalized. If your inmate is already working, that benefit is likely already built into the current date.
There are a few limited exceptions where additional time could come off:
In reality, once a release date is posted, it is usually very close to final. The best focus now is staying disciplinary-free, continuing to work or program, and preparing for release.
This is also a good time to start planning reentry. Services like InmateAid can help keep communication strong through letters, postcards, and discounted calls, and assist with things like sending money so your inmate can transition out with fewer obstacles.
