Can someone in federal prison get clemency for pleading guilty to viewing child pornography but never creating it or molesting an actual child?

Ask the inmate answer

Clemency is possible for all convicted offenders. It is up to the President of the United States of the Governor of they state they were convicted to grant clemecy. If this is a federal application, there is something called the Office of the Pardon Attorney that handles all incoming requests.

It is a long shot that works out for some, you never know which President might be in office at the time and how they respond to the reason for clemecy. Prsident Trump just granted clemency to a women serving a life sentence in federal prison. You never know.

All applicants get their answers in writing
