How soon can my inmate get released on a 4 to 9 in California?

Hello I'm a wide of an inmate facing 4,6 or 9yrs. I'n state of California, if given 4yrs and he has already did 1yr in county jail, what will his total time be that he will do? Before being released?

Depending on his Judgment and Commitment Order, he might get a parole hearing at the four year mark. The year in county counts towards this sentence
