How to send Amazon books to an inmate

To send books from Amazon to an inmate at SCI Pine Grove, you will enter the inmate’s information as the shipping address during checkout.

Here is how to do it step by step:

1. Add the book(s) you want to purchase to your cart
2. Go to checkout
3. Under “Shipping Address,” select Add a new address
4. Enter the inmate’s information in this format:
   • Inmate’s full name and ID number (on the name line)
   • Facility name
   • Facility mailing address
5. Select Ship to this address and complete your order

A few important tips:

• Make sure the name and ID number match exactly what the facility has on file
• Only send books that comply with prison rules (no prohibited content)
• Books must come directly from Amazon or another approved vendor, not from a third party or personal shipment

Once delivered, the books will go through the mailroom for inspection before being given to the inmate.
