"patience" is my advice. and, you have to be empathetic to their situation of what their mental state is, getting adjusted is not easy. give it some time, send a nice pic and a nice long letter again. be persistent and keep trying if it's what you want

you cannot get that information, he has a complete right of privacy. he can, however, request a copy and could share it with you if you are interested in a reaction

How can you find out if an inmate wants correspondence?

write them and see what happens... if you do nothing, you'll always wonder and in turn, you'll never give the inmate a chance to prove you're right/wrong

My husband is supposed to be released to a halfway house in may because of COVID-19 is there a chance he can be in house arrest?

There are several release options being offered to inmates with non-violent offenses. We are hearing that home confinement is the preferred method for these furloughed releases. Just a caution to the loved ones of possible release, they will have serious stipulations on the release and you can help make sure yours sticks to the rules because we are also hearing people violating within hours and then being sent back to the SHU. "Be careful" is all I'm saying.
