This section covers the most common technical and account questions including how to create an account and set up an inmate profile, how to send letters and photos through the platform, how the discount phone service works and when your number will be ready, how to track the status of a letter or money transfer, what to do if an order did not go through as expected, how to update an inmate's facility information after a transfer, and how to contact InmateAid's support team when you need help. The guidance here is written to get you back on track as quickly as possible so you can focus on what matters, staying connected with your loved one. Yes, we coordinate well with all of the CDCR facilities. The fire camps are minimum security state facilities that provide good work release opportunities for inmates that qualify, but it's state prison nonetheless. Yes. InmateAid's services cover every prison, jail, and detention center in the United States, including small county facilities like Dunklin County. No facility is off the map. That said, the specifics of what each service can do vary from facility to facility. Letter delivery works everywhere through the US Postal Service. Yes. Prepaid cards work just as well as regular credit or debit cards on InmateAid. You do not need a bank account or a traditional credit card to use the service. Prepaid Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards are all accepted and can be picked up at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, grocery stores, and most convenience stores. Load whatever amount you need onto the card and use it at checkout the same way you would a regular card.

We sent it to the facility YOU selected. The inmate profiles are set up by the member/users of the site. We do not monitor, verify or update the inmate profiles unless you request us to do so - and we are happy to do it. This sort of thing happens from time-to-time, we have no problem fixing the error and resending the mail for you at no charge.

The inmate profiles found on InmateAid are set up by the member/users of the site. InmateAid does not monitor, update or verify these profiles unless asked to do so. Inmates do not have access to the Internet and therefore are not going to be on the InmateAid website. This website is for YOU to use to remain in contact with them. If you need assistance getting his profile set-up, send us his name and we will create it for you.

InmateAid does not monitor, verify or update the inmate profiles that are greated by our Member/Users. We do however do our best to answer every request sent to aid@inmateaid.com in locating locations, identification numbers, and release dates. The more information you have on the offender, the easier it'll be to locate them. Release dates are not always published online, but the inmate certainly has their out-date, they meet frequently with their case manager or counselor often

The [postcards](https://www.inmateaid.com/postcards) are 4" x 6" and the photos are printed on the back of the card (up to four total). There is a small border so the pictures will appear to be small if you put four in that space. The [photos](https://www.inmateaid.com/letters) that come with the letters are 4" x 6" glossy paper printed to the edge of the paper. These are of the higest quality and are much better for important pictures you want your inmate

No, the inmates are not allowed on the Internet, they only know that there is a profile if someone tells him.
