Cambria County Prison in Pennsylvania does not publish detailed visitation rules or phone setup information online beyond basic contact details. That is frustrating but common for smaller county facilities that do not maintain robust public-facing websites.

The most reliable way to get current visitation hours, rules, and procedures is to call the facility directly at 814-472-7330. Ask specifically for the visitation department or an officer who can walk you through the current schedule, what identification you need to bring, and whether you need to submit a visitation application in advance.

On the phone side, Cambria County Prison uses Global Tel Link, commonly known as GTL, as their contracted phone carrier. To receive calls from your inmate, you will need to set up an account with GTL. Your inmate submits your number for approval through the facility's system, and once it clears they can dial out through GTL's platform.

If you are calling long distance to receive those calls, InmateAid's discount telephone service can provide a local number that routes to your existing phone. That brings the per-call rate down from long distance to local, which produces meaningful savings for families who talk regularly. Reach out to InmateAid if you want to explore that option before your inmate's next call.
