The new visitation week starts on Monday. That means your visit count resets at the beginning of each Monday and you have a fresh set of visits available for the week running Monday through Sunday.

If you visited on Wednesday and Saturday last week, both of those counted against last week's allotment. Starting Monday you are clear to schedule visits again according to whatever the facility allows per week.

A couple of things worth confirming directly with Brazos County Detention Center before you plan your visits. First, verify the specific number of visits allowed per week for your boyfriend's housing classification, since different units or custody levels sometimes have different visit allowances. Second, confirm whether visits need to be scheduled in advance or can be done on a walk-in basis, and whether there are specific time windows for each day.

Policies at county detention centers can also change with staffing levels, lockdowns, or facility-specific events, so calling ahead before making the trip is always worth the two minutes it takes. Nothing is more frustrating than driving out there and finding out visits are suspended for the day for a reason that had nothing to do with you or your boyfriend.

Monday is your reset. Plan accordingly.
