Absolutely, and this is exactly how the system is designed to work.

Not every inmate appears in the search results automatically, particularly those in smaller county jails or facilities that do not share data with public inmate locators. That is not a problem. InmateAid allows you to create a profile manually for any inmate at any facility as long as you know where they are housed.

Once you set up the profile with the correct facility information, all of InmateAid's services become available immediately. Letters, photos, postcards, and everything else routes to that facility through the standard mail process. Your inmate receives a physical letter handed to them by staff after the mailroom opens and inspects it, the same way any other piece of mail arrives.

The name of the site says it all. InmateAid exists to help you aid your inmate regardless of whether their information populates automatically in a search. The manual profile option is there specifically for situations like yours, and it works just as reliably as any other profile in the system.

If you run into any difficulty setting up the profile or confirming the facility address format, InmateAid's support team can walk you through it quickly. Get the profile set up and your first letter out as soon as possible. It will reach him.
