Beckham County Jail does not publish an online inmate roster, which is more common at smaller county facilities than most people realize. Without a publicly searchable database, the options narrow down to a few reliable alternatives.
The first and most useful tool is VINELink at vinelink.com. VINE, which stands for Victim Information and Notification Everyday, pulls custody data from facilities across Oklahoma including smaller county jails that do not maintain their own public rosters. Search by your inmate's full legal name...

Two weeks of waiting is not unusual, and unfortunately there is no guaranteed timeline that either county is legally obligated to meet outside of one specific circumstance.
Inter-county transfers in Pennsylvania happen when the receiving county, in this case Allegheny, can spare two deputies to make the trip to Butler and bring him back. That sounds simple but it depends entirely on staffing availability, scheduling, and how many other transports Allegheny County has in the queue at the same time. Large...

Basically there is no limit to the phone use at Leath Correctional (a South Carolina state prison), except for the cost of the calls. If there is money on the books they can stay on the phone all day. Many do especially in the first few days of incarceration. If you are not local to Greenwood SC, the calls start costing a lot. If you get a local line from InmateAid, the calls will be about $3-4 cheaper per call.

His account balance is considered personal financial information and falls under the same privacy protections that cover everything else about an inmate's record. The facility is not required to share it with anyone outside, including parents, and most of the time they will not.
That said, calling the counselor is your best shot at getting any information at all, and how you approach that call matters more than most people realize. Come in as a concerned, cooperative parent who is trying...

The $167 you are looking at is the ten percent option, which is what a bondsman typically requires as their non-refundable fee to post the full $1,700 on his behalf. If you can come up with that amount, a bail bondsman handles the rest and he gets out while his case moves through the courts.
If that is not possible and he has to sit it out, the timeline depends entirely on the court's schedule and how backed up the docket...

For a first offense involving marijuana and paraphernalia, the outlook is generally about as good as it gets in the criminal justice system, and incarceration is often not part of the picture at all.
Many jurisdictions have moved toward diversion programs for exactly this type of first-time, low-level drug offense. The most common is a pre-sentence intervention or pretrial diversion program, where the defendant agrees to pay a fine, complete a drug education class over a few days, and stay out...

Any honest answer here is a rough estimate because the outcome depends on factors that vary case by case, and we are not lawyers. That said, experience with these situations over many years points in a consistent direction.
The four things that drive the outcome most heavily are her criminal history, whether anyone was hurt, whether any property was damaged or lost, and the specific circumstances of the arrest. A small quantity of a Schedule 2 substance and a public intoxication...

The range you are looking at is six years on the low end and twenty on the high end, but where she lands within that range is almost entirely within her own control.
The six-year minimum is real and reachable. Parole eligibility in most states kicks in after the minimum is served, and a first appearance before the parole board is not automatic approval, but it is a genuine opportunity. What the board is looking for is straightforward: has she followed...

Before you make any calls or contact the facility, stop and think carefully about your own exposure here. This is not a situation where being proactive and helpful is automatically in your interest.
If drugs were found on a stamp you mailed, your name and return address are already on that envelope. The facility has it. Depending on how seriously they pursue it, that information can be referred to local law enforcement or federal authorities. Mailing a controlled substance into a...

They are not being starved, but hungry is a real and fair description of how most inmates feel, and there is a specific reason for that.
Jail and prison meals are required to meet a minimum nutritional standard of roughly 2,000 calories per day. That requirement is taken seriously because facilities face legal exposure if they fall below it. The food is not good; it is not meant to be, but it checks the nutritional box on paper.
The problem is that...

The honest answer is that it depends on several factors, but the charges themselves are on the lower end of the severity scale, which works in her favor.
Possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct are misdemeanor-level offenses in most jurisdictions. For someone with little or no prior criminal history, a first appearance on charges like these often results in a fine, probation, a diversion program, or time served. Judges see these cases constantly and for first-time or low-history defendants, a hard...
