The DOC publishes the names of their current inmates and identifies which of their locations the inmate is being held. The second box is the InmateAid Inmate Search. This database of inmates is user-generated content for the purpose of accessing and utilizing any or all of the InmateAid services. If you need our assistance creating your own inmate profile to keep in touch, email us at aid@inmateaid.com and we will assist you in locating your inmate.
As a last resort, you might have to pay for that information if we do not have it. The Arrest Record Search will cost you a small amount, but their data is the freshest available and for that reason, they charge to access it.

Visitation remains suspended at all institutions in Alaska statewide. We understand how important family contact is to both the inmates and their loved ones, and we look forward to reopening visitation as soon as it is medically safe to do so. Due to the congregate nature of a correctional facility and the rise in cases throughout the state, it is important DOC remains vigilant in protecting the health and safety of those who live and work in our institutions. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.
Since February 2, 2020 DOC has been screening every inmate booked into a DOC facility for COVID-19. On February 3, 2020 the DOC Infectious Disease Response Team held its first tabletop exercise for coronavirus response and has been meeting at least weekly since that time. A clinical care guide for DOC medical staff has been in place since 2/27 and a full departmental response plan was drafted March 4. On March 23 the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued its Interim Guidance on Management of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Correctional and Detention Facilities. The Department was pleased to see that the safeguards already put in place in Alaska met the standards issued by the CDC.
