The Caldwell Co Jail is a detention center located at 111 E Market St Princeton, KY which is operated locally by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Caldwell County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Princeton Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement.   • WORK RELEASE- 20.00 A DAY
  • WEEKENDER 24 HOURS- 45.00
  • WEEKENDER 48 HOURS- 70.00

ANYONE OWING DEBT WHEN MONEY IS PLACED ON THEIR BOOKS ½ OF ANY DEPOSIT IS TAKEN FOR FEES OWED. ALL MEDICAL FEES ARE TAKEN WITH MONEY DEPOSITED UP TO WHAT IS OWED.

COMMISSARY IS PASSED OUT NIGHTLY. MONEY MUST BE ON BOOKS FOR COMMISSARY PURCHASES NO LATER THAN 1800 IN ORDER TO PURCHASE COMMISSARY THAT NIGHT.

ALL INMATES ARE ALLOWED WHITES TO BE DROPPED OFF AT THE DOOR FOR THE FIRST 5 DAYS ( THE DATE BOOKED IN BEING DAY 1). AFTER THE 5TH DAY ALL WHITES MUST BE PURCHASED FROM COMMISSARY.

  • 2 SETS THERMALS

INMATES ARE ALLOWED (1) 15 MINUTE NON CONTACT VISIT PER WEEK

  • WEDNESDAY 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.
  • SATURDAY 12:00 - 2:00 P.M.

VISITORS MUST CALL BETWEEN 7:00-7:30 A.M. TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR VISITATION FOR THE SCHEDULED DAY.

ALL VISITORS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. ALL MINORS 17 AND UNDER MUST BE
ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WITH PROOF OF ID. NO CELLPHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED INSIDE THE FACILITY.
