The Escambia Co Corrections is a detention center located at 3020 N L St Pensacola, FL which is operated locally by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Escambia County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Pensacola Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Escambia County Corrections and its team of correctional officers and support personnel are responsible for the care, custody and control of over 1,300 inmates. These inmates are housed in the Main Jail on "L" Street, Work Release Center and Walton County Jail. The vast majority of these inmates are awaiting trial on charges ranging from violation of probation to murder.

Visitation Information

Escambia County Corrections - Visitation

Escambia County Corrections offers video visitation for inmates incarcerated for both the Escambia County Jail and the Escambia County Road Prison, at the Video Visitation Center located at 1190 W. Leonard St.

All visitations for inmates can be scheduled online or by the kiosks located in the lobby of the Video Visitation Center and Main Jail.

The Escambia County Corrections Video Visitation Center operates seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
