Iredell Co Jail is for County Jail offenders sentenced up to twenty four months.

The Iredell Co Jail is a detention center located at 221 E Water St Statesville, NC which is operated locally by the Iredell County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Iredell County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Statesville Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Those who are not released await their court appearances at the jail, receiving accommodations including bedding and meals. You can see all the arrest records for North Carolina here.

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility staff is responsible for overseeing a facility capable of housing a maximum of 277 inmates (201 in the main jail and 76 in the annex). The Iredell County Detention Center is rated as a Class Five facility in the state of North Carolina and houses inmates that are charged with criminal offenses from misdemeanor larceny to homicide.

All hygiene, clothing, snacks, and writing material must be purchased from the commissary. No stamps, envelopes, or blank paper is to be mailed in. Females are allowed 3 plain white sports bras. Phone cards are available for purchase from the inmate in the commissary.
