The Kentucky River Regional is a low/medium-security detention center located at 200 Justice Dr Hazard, KY which is operated locally by the Perry Regional Authority and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates have been here for less than five years. Kentucky River Regional accepts inmates from the Perry County Sheriff's arrests and surrounding towns, Hazard Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.
