Located just north of Las Vegas in Clark County, the Indian Springs Conservation Camp, established in 1983, initially comprised five 20-bed housing units. In 1994, a new 210-bed housing unit was introduced, replacing the old structures and increasing the camp's capacity to accommodate 192 individuals. In 2008, the camp underwent an official name change to Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp (TLVCC), reflecting its geographical location as designated by the United States Geological Survey. This camp primarily provides inmates to the Nevada Division of Forestry for various work projects, including roadside litter removal, landscape beautification, and wildfire suppression. Additionally, the TLVCC compound includes the Three Lakes Valley Boot Camp.

With a dedicated team, TLVCC operates smoothly to support its inmate population and facilitate rehabilitation efforts. The staff consists of one Correctional Lieutenant, sixteen Correctional Officers, and one Correctional Caseworker I.

The Three Lakes Valley Conservation Camp exclusively houses Minimum Custody and Work Release offenders, ensuring a suitable environment for individuals in these categories. The camp can accommodate up to 384 inmates, providing the necessary infrastructure and resources to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
