Located at 129 Conner Rd in Hominy, OK, DCCC carefully assigns inmates based on their custody level, considering factors like criminal history. DCCC offers diverse educational and vocational programs aimed at equipping offenders for successful reintegration into society and reducing recidivism. Through these initiatives, inmates gain skills and confidence, fostering personal growth and resilience.
Situated in Hominy, DCCC serves as a medium-security prison for men, with an additional minimum-security unit on-site. Opening its doors in 1979, DCCC boasts a capacity of 1,196 individuals and was constructed for $12.8 million. As one of the original eight state prisons, it plays a crucial role in Oklahoma's correctional system.
The facility derives its name from the esteemed former Oklahoma State Penitentiary Warden and Osage County Sheriff, R. B. "Dick" Conner, honoring his significant contributions to the state's law enforcement landscape. DCCC stands alongside several other state prisons in providing essential medical services through its infirmaries, ensuring round-the-clock intensive monitoring and treatment for inmates requiring specialized care.
DCCC maintains a database of current inmates and their locations within the system. To locate an inmate, begin by using the DOC locator tool, which requires entering the first three letters of the inmate's first and last name, allowing for variations in spelling.
If unable to locate the desired information through free resources, users may opt to use the Arrest Record Search, which requires payment. While this option incurs a small fee, it provides access to the most up-to-date data available.
At DCCC, visitation takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, and all state-recognized holidays.
State-recognized holidays that fall on Monday through Friday are “free” visiting days. An inmate's level will dictate the number of hours an inmate may visit on the free visiting day.
Holidays are free visitation days. That means visits on those days do not count against the total number of hours allowed to an inmate. If a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, then the hours will count on the total visiting privilege level hours.
Important Note: All inmate visitors must submit a “Visitor Request Form." You can find a copy of it here. Background checks will be completed on everyone over 18 or older. The inmate will notify you when the process is complete. The approval process takes approximately 8 weeks once the Visitor Request Form has been returned to DCCC.
Visitation Hours
As of May 1, 2019, Dick Conner Correctional Center visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
Processing visitors starts through the sign in/shakedown process at 8:30 a.m. and stops at 1:30 p.m.
Holidays will not count toward the total number of visiting hours.
Inmates are responsible for contacting their approved visitors regarding visiting hours.
