At the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility (NORCOR), visitors can choose between on-site and remote video visitation options.
On-Site (Local) Visits:
Visitors may use the TELMATE video tablets located in the NORCOR Administration lobby for on-site visits.
Remote Visits:
Friends, family, and others can visit remotely from any location using a web browser. All you need is a computer with high-speed Internet, a webcam, microphone, and speakers, or an Android device. There is no limit on the number of remote visits, and these can be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visiting Times and Rules

- If the inmate is in segregation, you must notify NORCOR staff two hours in advance to ensure the inmate is available for the visit.
- Visitors must arrive five minutes early for on-site visits.
- Minors may visit if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian and if there are no restrictions.

Visitation Details
- Inmates receive 60 minutes of free on-site video visitation each week. Free minutes become available at booking and refresh every Monday.
- Remote visits cost $0.25 per minute, and there are no limits on the number of paid visits.
- If using the "Visit Now" option, the inmate’s tablet will ring for three minutes. If the inmate does not answer, you can try again.

Important Visitor Rules
- All video visits are monitored and recorded.
- Visitors must dress appropriately—no halter tops, tube tops, swimwear, see-through clothing, low-cut tops, or short-length clothing above the knee.
- Violating visitation rules or "No Contact" orders will result in the termination of the visit without a refund.
- No disturbances, smoking, loitering, or pets are allowed in the NORCOR lobby.
- Children must be supervised at all times, and disruptive children must be removed from the visiting area.
- Supplying contraband is a Class C Felony (ORS 162.185).

Money on the books - also called the commissary or trust account - gives your family member access to hygiene items, snacks, phone time, and postage. It directly affects their daily comfort and ability to stay connected.
