Located in Haskell, TX, RPDC operates as a private contractor with various government agency agreements providing state-minimum custody requirements. Programs are offered to all custody levels, including work release residents focused on reentry success. The Rolling Plains Detention Center is a medium-security jail that houses both male and female populations with a total capacity of 555 beds. The facility currently has contracts with the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as well as Haskell, Throckmorton, and Baylor counties and has chosen LaSalle Corrections to provide the operations of the facility and inmate care.
LaSalle's goal is to offer inmate programs designed to change lives through the implementation and development of evidence-based and innovative programming solutions. From booking to re-entry, LaSalle offers a variety of programs and services to securely process, house, treat, and return inmates to society. In addition to offering typical activities like outside recreation, telephone communications, and commissary services in our facilities, there are opportunities to pursue continuing education, participate in rehabilitative programs, develop vocational skills, and even earn additional income that are available to inmates. If you need information about a detainee that is housed at this facility, you may call (214) 905-5829 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. When you call, please have the individual's biographical information ready, including first, last and hyphenated names, any aliases he or she may use, date of birth and country of birth. Detainees cannot receive incoming calls. If you need to get in touch with a detainee to leave an urgent message, you must call (940) 864-5694 and leave the detainee's full name, alien registration number and your name and telephone number where you can be reached. The detainee will be given your message.

  • Weekday visitation is available Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3 pm by submitting a request to the Warden. Although we make every attempt to accommodate such visits they are subject to availability of the Visitation Room and the security requirements of the facility.
  • Detainees are allotted one hour for visitation. More time may be authorized by the Warden for family members traveling significant distances depending upon the number of visitors and staff availability. A maximum of two adults and two children may visit at any one time. This regulation will be interpreted flexibly and is subject to exceptions.
  • To ensure adequate time to process visitors through security, all visitors must arrive 45 minutes prior to the scheduled visit time.

Adult visitors must present a valid, verifiable government-issued identification card to enter the facility. Minors who are visiting the facility must be accompanied by an adult guardian (18 years or older). Minors must not be left unaccompanied in the waiting room, visiting room, or any other area.
