The Roscommon Co Jail is a detention center located at 111 S 2nd St Roscommon, MI which is operated locally by the Roscommon County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Roscommon County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Roscommon Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. In-Custody Prisoners - Any prisoner in custody may elect to have their VALUABLE property items ONLY released during incarceration. Valuables are items such as keys, pagers, cell phones, wallets, jewelry, and other such items. Clothing is items of clothing such as pants, shirts, shoes, etc.

Online: Go to jailATM.com 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

In Person: Money may be deposited into an inmate's account by using cash or credit card at the kiosk in the jail visitation lobby.

By Mail: No money is accepted by mail. Letters and pictures will be copied and given to the inmate. Originals go into their property.

Soft Cover Book/Puzzles/Games: Must be purchased by an online distributor and mailed to the Jail with Inmates name on it. If they are inappropriate, it will be placed in the inmate's property. Cannot be dropped off at the Jail.

Whites: Must be purchased at the Jail or on Commissary. Cannot be dropped off at the Jail.

Male A-E: Monday and 1st Sunday 6 pm - 9pm
Male F-L: Tuesday and 2nd Sunday 6 pm - 9 pm
Male M-R: Wednesday and 3rd Sunday 6 pm - 9 pm
Male S-Z: Thursday and 4th Sunday 6 pm - 9 pm
Females: Friday and 2nd Saturday 6 pm - 9 pm

On-site visiting is conducted in the Jail Visitation Lobby. Visitors must be on the inmate's visitation list. It is the responsibility of the inmate to put people on their list.
