The San Patricio Co Jail is a detention center located at 300 N Rachal Ave Sinton, TX which is operated locally by the San Patricio County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. San Patricio County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Sinton Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Patricio County Jail - VISITATION DAYS & TIMES:

Visitation is by the inmate's last name

  • TUESDAY A-K 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • WEDNESDAY L-Z 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • SATURDAY A – K 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
  • SUNDAY L – Z 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

All special visitation and clergy visitation must be set up through the Jail Major or Captain by calling the main jail number.

RULES FOR VISITORS

  • Obey all directives from the Jail Staff
  • No one under 17 years of age allowed unless accompanied by an adult
  • You must have proper valid picture identification
  • Only immediate family allowed and you must be on the visitation list
  • You cannot have been incarcerated in our facility within the last 6 months
  • You must be properly dressed
  • ​No hats
  • No sunglasses
  • No sleeveless shirts or dresses
  • No spandex pants, spandex shorts or other form-fitting clothes
  • No low cut, backless or transparent shirts
  • No hand-carried items (cell phones, purses, backpacks, diaper bags, etc.)
  • No chewing gum
  • No torn shirts, pants, or shorts
  • Shorts, skirts or dresses must be below the knees
  • Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated
  • No cigarettes, lighters, or chewing tobacco allowed
  • Children left outside must be supervised by an adult
  • No food or drinks allowed

NOTE: Once you walk out of the facility, your visit is considered terminated for that visitation session.
