The St. Croix Co Jail is a detention center located at 1101 Carmichael Rd Hudson, WI which is operated locally by the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. St. Croix County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Hudson Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Those who are not released await their court appearances at the jail, receiving accommodations including bedding and meals. You can see all the arrest records for Wisconsin here.

Programing - Comprehensive programming will be offered for both male and female inmates involved in jail programs. St. Croix County utilizes new and innovative approaches in the implementation of effective programming.

The philosophy of the Sheriff's Office-Corrections Bureau is to present inmates with significant treatment opportunities and to provide an atmosphere that will challenge and encourage inmates to effect positive change in their lives while creating a safe and secure jail environment. Accomplishing these treatment goals will require inmates to invest a substantial amount of time and energy, thus programming will be direct and result-oriented by design.
