The Washington County OK Correctional Facility is a detention center located at 611 SW Adams Blvd Bartlesville, OK which is operated locally by the Washington County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Washington County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Bartlesville Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Inmates may purchase phone cards in $10 or $20 increments during the daily commissary or they may be purchased by friends/family via the kiosk located in the lobby of the facility (this kiosk accepts cash only).

INMATE TRUST FUND/COMMISSARY

At time of processing any currency or coin on the arrestee's person is documented and deposited into the inmate's commissary account. These funds can be used by the inmate to purchase items from the facility's commissary. The facility conducts a daily commissary for items kept on-site as well as a weekly commissary provided by a contracted vendor. Inmates are provided with basic hygiene items (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products) at no cost to the inmate. Family/friends may deposit further funds into the inmate's account through the kiosk located in the lobby of the facility (the kiosk accepts cash or credit/debit card) or via internet at tigerdeposit.com

INMATE PHONES

Inmates are provided phones in their housing units. The method of billing varies dependent on whether the call is made collect with the called party responsible for the call charges or via purchased phone card. Inmates may purchase phone cards in $10 or $20 increments during the daily commissary or they may be purchased by friends/family via the kiosk located in the lobby of the facility (this kiosk accepts cash only). The receiving inmate’s name must be clearly and legibly written on the card when purchasing phone cards at the kiosk.

MEDICAL

Inmates have access to medical care during their incarceration; the facility employs a full-time nurse as well as contracts with a physician for provided care. In accordance with state law (19 Q.S. 68.531), a fee of $8.00 for each medical visit or service an inmate receives will be deducted from any monies in an inmate's fund account as a medical co-payment, however inmates receive medical care regardless of ability to pay the co-pay at the time of services. Prescription medications may be dropped off during regular office hours, these medications must be in their original prescription container. It is recommended jail medical staff be contacted to arrange a time for delivering the medications to the facility

INMATE PROPERTY

Property brought into the facility at the time of arrest and not authorized to accompany the inmate to a housing unit will be secured and stored by the facility. Inmates may release their property to a designee of their choosing. All property (excluding one set of street clothing) will be released to the designee. No outside property will be received for an inmate excluding certain medications and/or religious reading materials.

MAIL:

All outgoing mail is sent out for delivery Monday through Friday excluding holidays. All mail, outgoing and incoming, is subject to search with the exception of legal or privileged mail. Cash and Money Orders are not accepted. Photos and photocopies sent in mail are not delivered to inmates. The envelope must be labeled with the sender's first and last name as well as a return address.

Visitation Information

Washington County OK Correctional Facility - Visitation

Visitation is conducted Saturday and Sundays. Inmates are permitted two 20 minute visits per week. No property items for inmates will be accepted during visitation. An inmate's visitation privileges may be suspended for rule violations or facility security without notification to the visiting party. Visitors must have valid identification with them at the time of each visit. . Visitors may leave and return back at their scheduled time; however the visit will start at the designated time regardless of late arrival. Scheduling is based on inmate last name and conducted during the following times

SPECIAL VISITS

Special visits may be allowed for persons traveling from out of state or long distances. Special visits must be scheduled in advance with the Jail Administrator or Assistant Jail Administrator. Only immediate family members will be approved.

MINISTRY VISITS

Members of an inmate's religious affiliation may schedule visits with the inmate through the Jail Administrator or Assistant Jail Administrator. Ministry visits are conducted with persons having proper credentials showing them to be ordained to conduct ministerial duties and must be accompanied with approval from the affiliated church on the organization's letterhead showing them to be in good standing and authorized to conduct such duties on behalf of the church/organization. These documents must be in the visitor's possession during each visit session. Persons related to the inmate are not considered ministry visits and will be conducted during normal visitation days/times.
