Visiting hours for MCC-Women are subject to change, so it's crucial to confirm them by contacting the facility directly by phone. Please reach out to 207-893-7140, on visitation procedures, applications, or directions to the facility in Windham. Please note that visitors will undergo a thorough search before entering the premises, and personal belongings, including cell phones, are strictly prohibited. Individuals under probation, parole, or community corrections supervision must obtain approval from both their supervising officer and the superintendent before visiting, although such visits are not typically approved.
If you would like to visit a resident at Maine Correctional Center, you must first complete a Visitor Application (Please see right-hand column) and pass a background check. The resident you are applying to visit will be notified of your approval and they are responsible for notifying you. If you are denied visitation, you will be sent a letter to the mailing address you provided with an explanation of why you were denied.
