Can an inmate on a work release program get released earlier due to overcrowding?

Question

My boyfriend is in a work release program on a drug charge he is estimated to get out this year..this new law or situation with closing the prisons in avoyelles...is it possible he could in fact be released earlier this year??

Anything is possible. If there are releases due to overcrowding, your inmate's profile seems to fit the prerequisite for those selected.
