can inmates rent iPods in jail?

I had a friend from yankton jail message thru text, he said they rent ipods for 4 dollars a month is this true?

not sure, but it sounds right...

not sure, but it sounds right... but what sounds off is "a text from an inmate"... if he has a cellphone, it's a mistake because it could add time to his sentence if discovered.
