Can they still call on the old line to give him the local #?

Once I have the new local number, Can my husband still call me on the old line so I may give him the new local number. I signed up and haven't heard from him. Was wondering if he no longer could reach me. So what do I do...

Ask the inmate answer

Yes, he will be able to use both numbers if they are both connected with the phone service at the jail. Using our number is just going to be better in the long run because of the lower per-call cost.
