Can you be paroled and it still have to go to a halfway house

My boyfriend said the prison he was in is moving him he said he was going into this program but when I a call to find out where he was sent to they said that he was paroled. Can you be paroled and it still have to go to a halfway house or whatever program they sent him to. How do I find out if he did in fact go to a halfway house

He could have been paroled to a halfway house. Finding him is not going to be easy. We would recommend calling the facility again and asking for a little more information, a phone number or a mailing address of the halfway house.
