How hard to survive is six weeks of isolation in prison?

Just wanted to say Thank you for your answer, I received a very quick response, you are awesome, I was "worried Mom" . BTW Ryan is expressing doubt that he wants to go to pc, as a mom, I just want him safe. He's only 21, was homeschooled, hes pretty socially backwards. may even be aspergers. He doesnt mind being alone, but he doesnt want to be bored either. we've been emailing everyday, and he wouldnt get that support anymore. I havent heard from him today trouble is, I cant be sure, he does suffer from anxiety disorder, so may exaggerate the level of risk. IDK. I can tell he is really afraid. It would be 6 weeks in isolation. Is that doable?Ive never experienced anything like that. a mom

Six weeks of isolation is definitely doable, but it's pretty boring. He needs to stay where there are always guards on duty. He might feel light a target because he is young, BUT make sure he just keeps his opinions to himself and doesn't crowd another person's space or get in their way (inmates are big on respect). He can do these last six weeks without incident just avoiding conflict of any kind and stay where there is supervision.
