How Long Until I Can See an Inmate's Reply in My Account?

The inmate I'm writing to confirm over the phone he has wrote back to me, how long it takes for me to see it on my account?

Once your inmate's letter arrives at InmateAid, it is scanned and posted to your account dashboard the same day it is received.

Once your inmate's letter arrives at InmateAid, it is scanned and posted to your account dashboard the same day it is received. You will get an email notification as soon as it is uploaded so you know it is there waiting for you.

The part that takes time is the postal delivery, not the processing on our end. Once the letter leaves the facility it travels through the regular US mail system, which typically takes a few days to a week depending on the location. That transit time is the main variable between when your inmate writes the letter and when you can read it in your account.

If your inmate has confirmed over the phone that he already sent the reply, it is simply in transit. Check your email for the notification and log into your account when it arrives.
