Parole is a process that is hard to predict outcomes for. Getting paroled on your first Board encounter is not easy. If we said "no" for every time someone asked "will I get out my first time?"; we would be right 90% of the time. If the crime was non-violent, the Board is more likely to take a chance on setting them free early. Since we know nothing more about him, his case, his criminal history and how he is really doing in the eyes for the people evaluating him we have no way of knowing.
