The staff does a good job of figuring out what jobs they can/will assign the inmates. There are clerical jobs, jobs in education, an orderly in the library and many other tasks that can be performed by the elderly, the injured or the disabled. They usually get everyone something to do. Jobs also benefit the inmates as they help get them into a routine which really makes the time go by faster.

This depends on the facility. With such a short sentence, usually the only way that there would be any reduction is if he was a model inmate and the facility was heavily overcrowded. Otherwise you should expect he will do most of the six-month sentence. It is very unlikely that they will grant him a transfer.

Yes, that is no problem. We are able to send "sexy" pictures but none that show ANY private parts. Bikini and lingerie is normally no problem and they get delivered to the inmate just fine.

The problem is the probation violation. Bond will be denied and they will have to answer for the new charges. He will have to face the magistrate and deal with whatever the charge or indictment is from the arresting officer/agency. Probation violation is a slippery slope because the offender must eventually face the original sentencing judge - they do not like seeing someone come back after they have been given a change at redemption with an early release.

If he went back in on a violation, the original sentence is what he is probably going to serve. When an inmate gets granted leniency and then violates, the courts are not happy. They are not happy because it makes them look bad in deciding to give that offender a break. Usually no second chances there.
