This depends on what the service was. If you bought phone minutes and they were not used, the carrier will refund some if not all of what is on deposit. If you bought a phone number then most likely this is a month-to-month service that has no refund regardless of usage as the line is the commodity, not the minutes.

Three-way calls are dangerous for the inmate. Remember, there is a process to be able to receive a call from an inmate. The "no three-way call" rule is actually a rule worthy of enforcement as it allows for an unapproved call recipient to communicate with the inmate. The carrier for TDCJ - Kyle is SecurusTech. They are the only carrier that can process calls. If you are in the state of Texas your calls are going to run 0.26/minute. We can get you a phone number from outside the state and that would reduce the calls to $0.21/minute. Sometimes they do, maybe there is a wait period before the calling may begin. Two weeks for a "husband" seems way too long. If this is the case, call the facility and ask to speak to a counselor. Tell them your concern in the most respectful manner and that should get the phone line working for him.
