What happen if I already paid twice for my letter from an inmate and it's still not showing anywhere i can download it or to view it? How can i see my letter? And will I get a refund?

If your payment went through and the page cycled back to a pay screen without confirmation, do not panic. This is a known issue that occasionally happens during letter processing, and it is handled quickly.

A couple of things to know right away.

If the letter content came through blank on our end, we will reach out to you directly. You will be given the option to rewrite and resubmit your letter or receive a full refund. Nothing gets lost permanently, and you will not be charged for a letter that was not delivered.

If you are concerned that you were charged twice, check your bank or card statement and contact InmateAid directly with the details. Duplicate charges are corrected with a refund. Keep a note of the transaction amounts and timing so we can match them quickly on our end.

One more thing worth knowing: letters are not processed on Sundays because post offices are closed. Orders placed on Sunday go out Monday. That does not affect your refund or resubmission options, but it is useful to know for timing purposes going forward.

If you have any doubt about the status of your order or your account, reaching out to InmateAid directly is the fastest way to get it resolved.
