Some people do all the "right" things and still encounter trouble. That said, here are some guidelines of advice to stay clear of trouble and" stay to yourself": a) Mind your own business. b) Figure out what's most important to you and spend your time focused on those things. c) Avoid following "the crowd" or what everyone else is thinking/doing. d) Don't interrupt other inmate conversations e) Don't butt in line f) Don't ask what another inmate's charges are g) Don't take or make things personal h) Don't sit on another inmate's bunk without permission i) Don't change the channel on the television without asking others If you can find a routine to stick to and do it without anyone else, you will therefore "stay to yourself" making getting into trouble unlikely - and allowing the inmate to have a smooth path to their relase date.
