When Can an Inmate Call and Write After a TDCJ Transfer?

My husband was transferred from the john Middleton unit to Lindsey I don't know when he was moved I looked up his info on the tdcj website n that's how I found out anyways how long before he can write n call? How can I get that information? Thank you
