Will inmate be on probation after sentence is served?

My sons father was arrested in Harrison county Ms and served time at Parchman. He had to serve 5 years flat time. He is no longer in MDOC custody and im wondering if since he flat timed will he have to be on probation/parole?

That depends on the Judgment and Commitment Order signed by the sentencing judge.

That depends on the Judgment and Commitment Order signed by the sentencing judge. That is where it would be noted if he has a term of supervised release/probation.
