Federal Medical Center, Devens (FMC Devens) is a federal prison facility in Massachusetts designed to provide specialized or long-term medical and mental health care for male inmates. Operated by the FBOP, FMC Devens accommodates inmates with varying security classifications, ranging from white-collar criminals to mobsters and sex offenders. The facility is located on the grounds of Fort Devens, approximately 39 miles west of Boston. The complex has a satellite prison camp for about 200 minimum-security male inmates.

Notable inmates housed at FMC Devens include Peter Madoff, brother of Ponzi scheme mastermind Bernard Madoff; Raj Rajaratnam, former manager of the now-defunct Galleon Group convicted of insider trading; Anthony Weiner, former Congressman serving a sentence for exchanging sexually explicit text messages with a minor; and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the Boston Marathon bombers.

Upon admission, new inmates undergo a month-long orientation program, which includes physical exams, educational, vocational, and psychological assessments, and orientation to facility rules and regulations. Inmates are subject to random drug and alcohol testing and contraband searches.

Health services at FMC Devens include onsite specialists in various medical fields, and inmates may be referred to outside specialists as needed. Mental health services include counseling, crisis intervention, and specialized programs for sex offenders and drug addiction. FMC Devens does not house a Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP).

Inmates are permitted six visits per month, with physical contact allowed within reasonable limits. Psychological counseling, religious services, educational classes, and recreational activities such as floor hockey, basketball, soccer, and music practice are available to inmates.

Housing at FMC Devens consists of one or two-person cells. Education services include GED, parenting, and ESL programs, as well as adult continuing education classes and apprenticeships in Education & Training and HVAC. Library services provide access to legal materials and an electronic law library via the TRULINCS system. Inmates can also access typewriters and a copy machine for legal document preparation. Commissary services allow inmates to purchase a variety of items using funds deposited into their commissary accounts by family, friends, or other sources. These funds can also be used for telephone calls and email communication.
