The Jasper County TX Jail is a detention center located at 101 Burch St Jasper, TX which is operated locally by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Jasper County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Jasper Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

The Jasper County Jail is tasked with housing the criminals that are apprehended throughout the daily tasks of several Law Enforcement Agencies within Jasper County. The Jasper County Jail holds all Class B and above pre -trial inmates.

The Jasper County Jail houses inmates from surrounding counties under cooperative working agreements. They currently house inmates from Tyler, Newton, and Sabine Counties.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division consists of (23) Jailers under the supervision of Jail Administrator, Cori Stanley. Jail Lieutenant, Maurice Villasana, oversees building maintenance and food service to the 144 bed facility.
