Jefferson Co Jail is for County Jail offenders sentenced up to twenty four months.

The Jefferson Co Jail is a detention center located at 765 Justice Center Dr Dandridge, TN which is operated locally by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Jefferson County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Dandridge Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. The Jefferson County Justice Center is the detention intake center for subjects arrested in Jefferson County by the Sheriff’s Department, state agencies (THP, TBI, TWRA, etc), and local police departments within the county. The local police departments include Dandridge, White Pine, Jefferson City, Banberry and New Market. All persons who are arrested in Jefferson County are processed within the Jefferson County Detention Facility.

This facility can hold a total population of 188 inmates. Corrections officers supervise each pod area providing security against escape and also the daily requirements for the inmates.

Inmates who are on work release are housed at the work release center on Industrial Park Road.
