The Niobrara County Sheriff's Detention Center is a secure facility with a capacity of fourteen beds, designed to hold adult male and female inmates. The facility's primary purpose is to ensure that individuals either complete their sentences or appear before a judge as required. To visit an inmate at this detention center, visitors must be adults or minors accompanied by a legal guardian. All visits are conducted in a non-contact manner, with both audio and video recordings in place to maintain security. Visitors are required to present photo identification and will be screened for any outstanding warrants. It is important to note that children cannot be left unattended in the lobby during visits.

The visiting schedule is subject to change and may be suspended without prior notice due to facility needs. To provide financial support to an inmate, visitors must use Access Corrections to deposit funds into the inmate's jail account.
