As of March 18, 2020, registration and visitation rules have changed to protect inmates at Newaygo County Jail and their loved ones during the COVID-19 outbreak. At this time, there are no in-person visits for family and friends due to the COVID-19 situation. Video visitation is available; details can be found below or call 231-689-7024.
All visits are non-contact and conducted through a glass partition. This facility may also have a video visitation option, please call 231-689-7024 for more information and updates to the current rules and regulations.

Visitation Dates and Times:
Off-site remote visits: Sunday through Friday 1:00 pm – 4:40 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
On-site visitation: Satruday 1:00pm – 4:40 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Inmates in the Newaygo County Jail can be visited in the jail or at home through video visitation.
Visits are self-scheduled in advance online according to approved visitation hours. Go online to securustech.net/videovisitation and follow the prompts. If you do not own a computer, you can come into the lobby area of the Newaygo County Jail to schedule your visit on a visitation terminal. Your loved one is notified of the scheduled visit in advance and will be able to check in at the time of the visit by using the pin number and monitor number given to them by Securus once they have scheduled their visit. All visits are video visits are in a common area. Because it is a common area we request visitors supervise all children during on-site visits. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior will cause the visit to be immediately terminated. Out of respect, all inmates and visitors have the right to have a pleasant experience during their visitation time.
