InmateAid is the starting point for finding the cheapest rate available for calls from whatever facility your son is in at Trenton, Tennessee.

Here is how it works. The jail or prison where your son is housed contracts with a single phone carrier, and that carrier sets the rates based on the number being dialed. Depending on where you are located in the Selmer and Savannah area and what area code your number carries, you may already be at a local rate or you may be paying a higher long-distance rate without knowing it. InmateAid analyzes the rate structure for the specific facility and identifies the number that triggers the lowest available rate.

The best first step is to email aid@inmateaid.com with the name of the facility where your son is housed and your current phone number. InmateAid will look up exactly what calls are currently costing and what they would cost with an InmateAid number. If you are already at the cheapest rate the carrier offers for that facility, InmateAid will tell you that honestly and cancel the transaction so you do not spend money on something that is not saving you anything.

If there are savings available, the setup takes just a few minutes and the lower rate kicks in as soon as your son adds the new number to his approved call list at the facility.

There is no risk in getting the estimate first. You find out exactly where you stand before committing to anything, and if InmateAid cannot beat your current rate, you owe nothing.
