I have heard that in prison child molestors are hated and have to be separated from the rest of the inmates for their own safety (of the molestor). Why are they so hated and are there any other crimes which are hated inside the prison? Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to answer this question! :)

Convicted child molesters are called CHO-MOEs by the other inmates. Child molestation is at the top of the "hate list" for inmates along with "snitches" and could be targeted for beatings by groups of bully inmates. We do not know why there is more of a stigma for that versus rape or murder but it is.  The prison system is keenly aware and have established some prisons that are for sex criminals only, here is a list of the 10 Sex Offender Management Program (SOMP) prisons in the Federal Bureau of Prisons: Administrative Security Sex Offender Prisons 1. FMC Carswell (Fort Worth, TX) 2. FMC Devens (Ayers, MA) Low Security Sex Offender Prisons 3. FCI Elkton (Elkton, OH) 4. FCI Englewood (Littleton, CO) 5. FCI Seagoville (Seagoville, TX) Medium Security Sex Offender Prisons 6. FCI Marianna (Marianna, FL) 7. USP Marion (Marion, IL) 8. FCI Petersburg Medium (Petersburg, VA) 9. FCI Tucson (Tucson, AZ) High Security Sex Offender Prisons 10. USP Tucson (Tucson, AZ)
