Ask a former inmate questions at no charge. The inmate answering has spent considerable time in the federal prison system, state and county jails, and in a prison that was run by the private prison entity CCA.

Depending on where they are, you can send money through the mail in the form of a money order. Or, you can use an online service to send money. Most of these institutions have a preferred vendor in place. Let us know where the inmate is incarcerated and we will try to help find out whom you may use.

They are not unlimited. There are many plans out there, the ones publicizing unlimited are not being honest; there are many add-on charges that mysteriously appear on your charge card - after you've signed up and it it too late.  InmateAid's service is totally disclosed at the time of the purchase. Depending on the facility, your inmate is probably waiting A & O, (Admissions and Orientation). Once they have gone through the lectures from all of the department heads, the inmate is ready for designation and privileges. Most A & Os happen on Wednesday but every place is different. It is at A & O that they gain the information for phone calls and visitation.

To create a Discount telephone Account with InmateAid, you will go to your My Account area of the website after logging in. Click on the link for Discount Telephone Lines and then click the "Add Local Line" button. Once you are past that page it will prompt you to select a state, facility, an inmate name and id number. Then you will add your current phone number and a contact name. Then you select the plan, either Quarterly or Monthly.

A lot of this will depend on the investigation and interviews of the other defendants. But the parole is almost for sure going to be revoked as his terms of release are to not be around "crime" and it is his responsibility to know where he can and cannot be at all times.
