Subject: Send books and magazines
The magazines are limited because the prisons don't accept all titles. We have 1000s of "good" titles that we cannot offer because for the restrictions. Amazon is great for books, but only okay for magazines, you just need to know if it is prison-acceptable or it'll get sent back.

The magazine subscription takes 8 weeks at least to get the first issue rolling. Our policy is that you can change the address as many times as necessary. We know inmates get moved all the time and this concession seems to work well for all parties.

The best, in my opinion, is the puzzle magazine. They have hundreds of puzzles in each and come every month - it is with a doubt the inmate's favorite too.

They are al printed magazines, by the publisher and mailed to the inmate by the publisher. This is the only way they may receive them. We do not sell "digital magazines" to inmates

Subject: Send books and magazines
If the books were returned we would not try sending them again. Amazon is the only way prisons will accept books (if they changed their policy, we were not aware). You could get the same effect sending some magazine titles that fit your inmate's interest. If you want to send some magazine ubscriptions from InmateAid, send us an email at aid@inmateaid.com and we'll send you a coupon for 1/3 off all you buy.

Malcolm Galdwell books, "Tipping Point", "Outliers" and "Blink" are recommended for business philosopy-type reading. For fiction reading, i like the authors Stuart Woods, Vince Flynn, Harlen Coben, Lee Child, John Grisham, Daniel Silva, Michael Lewis and Sandra Brown. There are tons of titles for these authors. The prison/jail rules require buying paperback books from the publisher like Amazon, don't try and send them yourself, they will definitely get returned.
