No such thing, community corrections is already a lienient provision for a low-risk offender. This type facility is the easiest place to do time.

Once the offender has done their required time, they are held in the A & O area until the state with the warrant comes to pick them up. There are usually no delays as they state with the detainer knows the inmate's release date. They are oftentimes waiting in the parking lot for the actual release to be finalized.

Subject: Residential drug abuse program (rdap)

FCI Jesup does have the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), which would reduce the length of an inmate's federal sentence by 12-months (plus 6 months of halfway house) if eligible. Eligibility begins and ends with the Pre-Sentence Report that is proffered to the judge prior to sentencing. If there is no mention of drug use or alcohol dependency or abuse in this report, there are no other options or appeals that will get the inmate into the program.

I was in federal, county and a private facility and there were female guards in all three places. It was uncomfortable in the maximum security setting as they oversaw the pod area, we had to shower in the open, right in front of their control room window.

It depends on the circumstances of the conviction. If there was a guilty plea involved, part of the language in that plea would have included a clause that forfeits any right to appeal at a later date.
