Ulster Correctional Facility is a medium-security prison housing adult males. Typically, inmates have short stays as they undergo intake procedures, classification, and examinations before being transferred to a more permanent facility based on gathered information. Upon arrival, inmates may have limited access to communication, with delays in contacting their families lasting several days to a week. Due to the short incarceration period for most inmates, the range of programs offered at Ulster CF is limited.
